    The ghost of a person who died with regrets but from a non violent death. A little, simple regret is enough to become a Poltergeist. To reach peace, a Poltergeist needs to either free itself from this regret by achieving what they could not do before their death, or to overcome this regret.

    It is worth noting that Poltergeists have a better ability to interact with the world of the living. They can move objects much more easily than other Ghosts and make noises.

    Physical Appearance

    Poltergeists appear invisbilie to the normal eye and when visible their whole body appear but translucide. They do have clothes on that don't appear translucide unlike Apparitions..

    In most cases Poltergeists are teenagers, young adults, adults, or elderly person's ghosts. Elderly person's are rarer because life expectancy is longer and therefore old age deaths usually involve no regrets. Children cannot become Poltergeist for the simple reason that they become Spooks.

    Ecology

    To reach peace, a Poltergeist needs to either free itself from this regret by achieving what they could not do before their death, or to overcome this regret. In almost all cases where an elderly person becomes a Poltergeist, it is to stay with their loved one in order to wait for them.

    If a Poltergeist succomb to their regrets or give up on them. Then there would be no comeback and they become Shades.

    Diet

    Being Ghosts, Poltergeists do not need to eat in order to survive.

    Habitat

    Poltergeists can be found in any type of environment but they tend to regroup and live in or near populated towns. There is however some haunted towns that are populated with mostly Poltergeists like Ormir in Gallia.

    Behavior

    Poltergeist mostly behave just like any normal living person. They tend to live among people, these being either their living loved one, around other ghosts, other Poltergeists or just living people in general.

    They can become a threat if upset, angry or attacked but they generally stay quite calm. It is worth noting that Poltergeists are still ghost of previously living people and they keep their own personality so this has a huge influence on their behavior.

    ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ - Docile: Poltergeists mostly have a quite peaceful behavior and "live" their life as they want, trying to eventually get rid of their regrets. However, as every beings, they can also get upset, angry at people and tries to hurt them. Since they have a very good ability to interact with the world of the living, they can hurt people by throwing objects and sometimes even push the livings. You better be nice with people and especially with the dead ones.

    Abilities

    Poltergeists have a better ability to interact with the world of the living. They can move objects much more easily than other Ghosts and make noises.

    Magic

    It is known that the type of magic that allows Poltergeist to manipulate different things of the world of the living is the Spirit elemental magic. However, it is unkown why they keep this ammount of inner mana after their death.

    The most common spell used by Poltergeists is telekinesis. They tend to use this magic to move objects more than their own force.

    Use

    Poltergeists have no use in any spells or rituals. It is however possible for Wiccans to invoke them through a ritual of Unbound Creature Invocation. The fact that it is unbound means that the Poltergeist will have either no obligation to show up or no intent to cooperate with the Wiccan. In some cases, the Poltergeist can feel attacked and can try to hurt the Wiccan as a defense mecanism.

    There are many reasons that a Wiccan can try to invoke a Poltergeist but the main reasons are: in a Rituals & Incantation class for Wiccan students, in a spiritualism way to communicate with a loved one or to get informations from the ghosts in a Knight case.

    Many people discuss the realtion between Phantoms and Wiccan's familiars. Some people even think that Phantom may be the first stage of becoming a Familiar. Yet, many writings reject this hypothesis through the simple fact that Phantoms and Familiars comes from different dimensions, one being the Spirit Dimension and the other being the Familiar Dimension. Another fact that goes against this hypothesis is the extreme diversity of the Familiars while the rarity of the fauna isn't that balanced. Therefore, many consider this hypothesis as refuted.

    A ghost of a dead animal. These ghosts aren't aware that they died and keep living the way they lived before but as Phantoms. They do not take the form of the animal they were in their previous life, they appear as mana-less animals of the same kind of Wiccan's familiar. This is supposed to be caused by the loss of mana they experience during their death.

    Phantoms are very common in the Real Dimension except they are completely invisible to the normal eye. Only gifted people that are able to see Ghosts would be able to see how many there actually are everywhere.

    Physical Appearance

    Phantoms have, like most of the Ghosts, a translucide body and depending on the specie of the deceased animal will be able to fly, float or only walk.

    It has to be noted that Phantoms do not look like they did in their previous life. Indeed, Phantoms regress in evolution to look like another world's fauna that do not possess mana. More specifically they look like the animals of the Familiar dimension except with no Wiccans and no power.

    Ecology

    Wiccarium's fauna is different from the human world's since it is affected by mana, explaining why the fauna developed differently. For an unknown reason, when animals die their ghost seems to lose a great quantity of mana, causing a different evolution.

    Animals based on the human world's animals will have their ghost return to the human world's animals shape. Animals created from mana or animals too much influenced by it will simply regress in their evolution. The last point especially concerns Draconis, Plantaes, Beasts: Orcus and Totoro, and Magic Beings.

    Diet

    Being Ghosts, Phantoms do not need to eat in order to survive. However, since Phantoms are not aware they are dead they tend to hunt for alive fauna but it's nerver quite successful not being able to interefere with the Real Dimension.

    Phantoms wander in any type of environment but mostly in the aera of their usual life.

    Phantoms wander peacefully most of the time, they are not even aware that they are dead.

    ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ - Null: Completely inoffensive creatures that just exists as if they never knew they were dead in the first place. They may even appear as boring to anyone that could see them.

    Abilities

    Phantoms have no magical abilities, they aren't even capable of showing themselves in the Real Dimension. There are some exception encountered with pets that were so loved that a Phantom would reveal themself before the previous owner but there is no record on how they may manifest in this dimension.

    Ghost of a person who suffered a violent death. It means that the cause of death was either caused by someone or something, including accidents, homicide and suicides. When they die, Haunts are either attached to someone or to their own body.

    Physical Appearance

    The body of a Haunt is a full humanoid body of a critical thinking being of the bestiary. The whole form is slightly translucide and the type of death determine the color of the body. If the Haunt is attached to the body, the bones are usually attached to the body or eventually the tomb of the place.

    Ecology

    Haunts' attachment is determined by what they felt before their last breath: if it is a feeling of hatred the Haunt will attach itself to someone; if there is no feeling of hatred then the Haunt will stay attached to its own corpse.

    In the case where the Haunt is attached to someone, it attaches itself to the first living person it encounters.

    When it stays attached to its own corpse, then it will follow it wherever it goes. Usually, the corpse is quickly found and moved to a morgue or cemetery. In those cases, the Haunt can not go further than the cemetery and decide to protect its grave. However, if the corpse is not found quickly, or at all for that matter, the Haunt will protect its corpse and will not be able to move too far away from it.

    Being Ghosts, Haunts do not need to eat in order to survive.

    Habitat

    As stated above, Haunts live either attached to there body or to a living person. A lot of them live in a cemetary.

    A Haunt's behavior depends a lot of its situation. Graveyard Haunt are harmless and usually seeking for conversation or mopping around.

    Lost Haunts can either be harmless if they died peacefully or not too long ago. But if they died with hatred or protect their body for a very long time. Lost Haunts can become very hostile due to the fact that if their corpse is destroyed the Haunt itself will disappear.

    Finally Vengeful Haunts that died with a feeling of hatred. This types of Haunt clutchs to a person that is near when they died, if the Haunt was murdered then it'll try to attach to them to make their life harder. In another term Vengeful Haunts want to, as their name stand for, haunt them. If the person causing their death is not around then they attach to the first person they see and will try and find their prey through them. When a person is being haunted then they become very "heavy" and unlucky, they tend to slip and fall or get unexplainable cuts and bruises easily.

    ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ - ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ Harmless to Wild: From harmless that can cause little injuries but no more than a scratch to wild that associate another specie as a threat. When they're in a hostile mood, they're not to approach or will cause harm.

    Abilities

    Haunts do have the ability to interact with the Real dimension in a way that they're able to defend themselves if attacked. The only magical ability observed with Haunts is this unluckiness and heaviness they cause to people they haunt.

    Magic

    The only magical ability known is this power of unluckiness they cause to haunt people but no one know from where it comes from. It is supposed that they gain those power by feeding directly from the mana of the person they haunt causing this heavy feeling. This means that the revenge they seek give this unluckiness to the person they're attached to as a punishment if the haunted caused the death or as a scapegoat.

    Ghost of close relative or friend. They appear when the person is danger or in time of distress. Apparitions, as their name suggests, only have an ephemeral time at their disposal and are only visible for a short time to make their point.

    Physical Appearance

    The body of the ghosts are transparent and the eventual clothes they wears are translucide but not as much as the body. Apparitions have a humanoid body but the lower part of their body appears as smoke. This is caused by the large energy cost of their manifestation.

    Ecology

    The way an Apparition is created is completely unknown but it has been observed that only close relatives or friends show themselves as an Apparition. This is interpreted as a part of their soul stayed with the person they care about in order to protect them from anything.

    Furthermore, gifted people that could see invisible Spiritum have stated that Apparition are completely absent from the Real Dimension when they aren't manifesting to protect a loved one.

    Being Ghosts, Apparitions do not need to eat in order to survive.

    Apparitions only appears near their loved one and are not seen in a specific environment.

    Behavior

    An Apparition appears to warn of a danger or to help with distress. Times of distress mostly (only) refers to mental distress. In this case, their presence has a soothing and comforting effect on the person.

    In general, they always try to touch the person, which creates a slight breeze or cold feeling. But they can not interact with the living world's environment, which causes them to pass through everything they touch.

    As stated before, since Apparitions only manifest for a brief ammount of time then their reassuring or their message is often short and sometimes even cut off.

    ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ - Null: Completely inoffensive, Apparitions have no intention to harm any being as their own purpose is to protect.

    Abilities

    Apparitions have no magical abitilies. They put all of their energy to show themself in the real dimension and most likely can appear only once before fading to the Spirit Dimension.

    Magic

    The short time they appear and the energy this action costs doesn't allow Apparition to perform magic.

    Use

    Being ghosts, Apparition have no use in any spells or rituals.

    History

    Their name refers to their brief manifestation in time. Indeed, the simple act of showing themselves to people costs a lot of energy, and their messages are often short. The energy cost is also why Apparitions can not completely manifest and that only the upper part of their body is defined.

    Ghost of dead children. They love attention and tend to play tricks or mess around. Some of them possess a white sheet which they either wear or carry around. The Spooks that do have a white sheet tends to be more visible.

    Physical Appearance

    The body of the ghosts are transparent and the eventual clothes they wears are translucide but not as much as the body. Spooks with the white sheet is completely opaque and usually, this sheet never leaves them.

    Ecology

    If a Spook has a white sheet or not is determined by the child's funeral. This sheet offers more chances to the Spook to enter the Spirit dimension and therefore, rest in peace.

    The sheetless Spooks are either children who did not have a proper funeral or children who's body were never found. They can still reach peace, but it requires an external help and thus is way harder to achieve.

    Spooks wander in any type of environment but they are found mostly in cities and even more at playgrounds.

    Behavior

    Spooks are little tricksters, they like to wear their white sheet and make themself visible to spook people, hence the name.

    Being the spirits of children, they still mostly want to have fun. This is why they're easily found at playgrounds. If you see a swing swinging by itself, there's a chance that it may be a Spook playing!

    ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ - Harmless: Can cause little injuries but no more than a scratch. Can be taken care of easily and without magic needed.

    Abilities

    Spooks have no magical abitilies. They are able to show themself in the real dimension and interact with objects there but nothing more. The white sheet is supposed to give Spook more accessibily of the real dimension.

    Magic

    Except for interacting with the Real dimension's objects, it is unknown if Spooks are able to manipulate mana and display spells.

    Being ghosts, Spooks have no use in any spells or rituals.

    History

    If a Spook has a white sheet or not is determined by the child's funeral. This sheet offers more chances to the Spook to enter the Spirit dimension and therefore, rest in peace. Usually, the white sheet never leaves them.

    Legend says that if someone finds a white sheet on the floor in a random place, it means that a Spook has finally found its way to the Spirit dimension in order to reach peace, or has lost all hope and turned into a Shade.
